How to Obtain the Ichigo True Bankai
Obtaining the Ichigo True Bankai in Legacy Piece is a significant investment that requires completing a lengthy, multi-phase questline. Before you begin, ensure you have already acquired the normal Zongetsu sword and its Bankai form.
Phase 1: The Mask Collection
Once you have your Zongetsu sword and Bankai form, travel to Quincy Castle. Equip the Zongetsu sword and speak to the NPC to trigger a boss fight. You must fight this boss using only the Zongetsu weapon. After defeating the boss, you need to collect five white mask fragments scattered across the map:
- Rune City: Teleport here and follow the path to find the first fragment.
- Jungle Islands: Locate the fragment near the tree by the "Speed Demon" NPC.
- Hollow Land: The third fragment is located in a nearby, easily accessible spot.
- Slayer Mansion: Look behind the large rock to find the fourth fragment.
- Legacy Island: The final fragment is located near the rocks on this island.
Phase 2: Hollow Race and Resonance
After collecting the masks, return to the Zongetsu NPC. You are required to reroll your race to the "Hollow" race using race rerolls. Once you have the Hollow race, you must defeat 2,500 Hollows in Hollow Land while holding the Ichigo sword.
Next, you need to gather 100 Resonance. This is best farmed by defeating level 20,000+ bosses. Community reports suggest summoning the extreme Ichigo Kurosaki Bankai boss in Hollow Land via the Whisperer NPC to farm this efficiently. Higher difficulty settings grant more resonance per kill.
Phase 3: Stern Ritters and Final Materials
To summon a Stern Ritter, you must farm 20 Rishi fragments and defeat 50 Quincy soldiers. You need to defeat all five Stern Ritters at least once while wielding the Ichigo sword. Finally, collect the following materials:
