How to Unlock Acheron in Legacy Piece

With the latest update to Legacy Piece, players can now obtain the highly anticipated Acheron weapon. Unlike traditional boss-drop weapons that require manual grinding or specific quest chains, Acheron is tied to the game's newly introduced tower progression system.

To start your journey, travel to Legacy Town and locate the Tower Mode dungeon entrance. Your goal is to climb to floor 50. Upon defeating the final boss at this milestone, the weapon will be automatically added to your inventory. Throughout this climb, you will also earn various rewards, such as Trait, Race, and Clan rerolls, which can significantly enhance your character’s build while you grind toward the final prize.

Mastering the Tower Mode and Nihility’s Gaze

The tower functions as an endless dungeon where you face waves of mobs and bosses. Success in this mode relies on balancing your efficiency. Once you clear a stage, the game allows you to enable the "Auto Next Stage" feature. According to community reports, this makes the tower highly AFK-friendly, provided your current build has enough DPS to clear waves without constant supervision.

As you defeat enemies, you will collect a unique currency called "Nihility’s Gaze." This resource is essential for the Tower Shop, where you can purchase crafting materials, chests, and the Acheron Outfit accessory. Equipping this outfit provides a substantial boost of +28% V Move damage and +42% Critical Damage, making it an essential companion to the Acheron weapon for maximizing your output.

Weapon Passive and Moveset Mechanics

Acheron’s true power is gated behind a special enchantment passive titled "I Weep for the Departed." This passive has a 1% roll chance and is vital for unlocking the weapon's identity. It grants your attacks "True Damage" and applies status effects including Burn, Poison, and Bleed.

Most importantly, this passive enables the charging of "Slashed Dreams." Without this, you will be unable to access the weapon’s ultimate ability, "Slashed Dream Cries in Red." Always prioritize unlocking this enchantment early to ensure your full moveset is combat-ready:

Keybind Move Name
[Z] Trilateral Wiltcross
[X] Mute Thunder
[C] Thunder Core
[F] Octobolt Flash
[V] Slashed Dream Cries in Red

FAQ

Where can I start the quest for Acheron? You do not need to initiate a formal quest. Simply head to the Tower Mode entrance in Legacy Town and begin climbing the floors until you reach floor 50.

Is it possible to AFK the tower? Yes. You can enable "Auto Next Stage" in the tower settings. Once your gear is optimized for clearing waves quickly, the tower can be farmed passively to collect Nihility’s Gaze and level rewards.

Why is my V move not working? The V move (Slashed Dream Cries in Red) requires the "I Weep for the Departed" passive. Additionally, you must charge your "Slashed Dreams" gauge through active combat before the V key becomes usable.
